Food Chemistry Special Issue

The submission portal of the conference related special issue in the journal Food Chemistry is now open. All submitted papers will undergo the same scientific evaluation and peer-review process as regular submissions to the journal.

How to submit

Submit your manuscript through the journal’s Editorial Manager system: https://www.editorialmanager.com/foodchem/default.aspx.

During submission, authors should select VSI: 4th NIZO 2026 at the “Article Type” step to ensure that the manuscript is correctly identified for this special issue.

Manuscripts should be prepared in accordance with the journal’s author guidelines.

Submission to the special issue does not guarantee acceptance; each paper will be assessed for scientific quality, originality, relevance, and compliance with journal standards.

Editorial process

After initial editorial checks, eligible submissions will be assigned to the Special Issue Editor and sent for peer review where appropriate. Final editorial decisions will be made through the journal’s standard editorial workflow.
