Emma Teuling

Dr. Emma Teuling is project manager protein technology at NIZO (Ede, the Netherlands), and an expert in plant and microbial proteins. Her work field of protein technology (2009 – present) ranges from protein extraction and separation from different sources to application in food and feed products. This includes downstream processing, molecular characterization, technical functionality, sensory properties and nutritional quality as well as interaction with other ingredients in complex food matrices. She holds a PhD on extraction and application of single cell and algae proteins in food and aquaculture (2018, Wageningen).
